*Catering
To assist in the efficient and profitable operation of the Courtyard Café in a positive and friendly manner to the standard expected at a 5 star visitor attraction. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you need to be a team player and passionate about excellent customer service. Our Café provides a vital service to our visitors on a daily basis in a relaxed and informal setting. Varied daily jobs, from serving food and drink, operating the till to maintaining the tidy and clean standards of the Café, therefore you’ll need to be adaptable. Previous experience is not essential but the desire to work and learn is.
*Retail
With three shops on site, the Castle offers varied shopping experiences to our visitors. Individuals in retail should be confident in learning the products, the importance of restocking and customer engagement whilst ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the Castle’s retail outlets: The Gift Shop; The Highland Shop; and The Wool Shop.
We are mainly seeking individuals to join our current Gift Shop team. The Gift Shop is included on the Castle Tour and becomes busy; requiring accuracy and efficiency. We already have some very experienced returning staff within this team, but are looking for some new flexible and friendly faces to join us. The ability to work some weekend days is strongly desired for these roles.
